There is an extensive pastoral care team to support all pupils at Charterhouse. Wellbeing is an extra layer of concentrated support – an opportunity for in-depth reflection and discussion that helps pupils gain insight into themselves, their relationships and the wider world.

Situated in the heart of the School, Wellbeing offers a range of free, confidential options to best support pupils and staff at Charterhouse. This might include mentoring, training, counselling or other emotional support with trained mental health professionals.

Emotional and psychological support, including counselling, provides an opportunity to explore any of life’s issues, great or small, which may be causing distress or concern. Talking about feelings, thoughts and situations with someone who listens carefully and who does not judge, can help with finding answers.

Wellbeing is at the centre of our School’s pastoral care. The whole School community is educated and supported to ensure the mental health and emotional wellbeing needs of our pupils.
