At the start of term we welcomed Mrs Tanya Coffey to the Futures team as International University Counsellor. She will be supporting pupils as they apply to universities across the US, Canada, Europe and other worldwide destinations.
Tanya joins Charterhouse from ACS Egham International School. With her extensive experience in successfully guiding pupils through the international university application process, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to help pupils navigate their next steps. Originally from New York, Tanya holds a Master’s degree from Columbia University and a BA from the State University of New York.
I feel truly welcomed by the Charterhouse community. As I settle into my new role, I look forward to assisting our pupils in exploring their international university options. It’s an exciting journey, and I am delighted to be guiding them along the way.
Tanya has already begun working closely with our Year 13 pupils applying to North American universities. Her expertise will greatly enhance the support we offer to both pupils and families as they navigate the complexities of international university admission. In addition to her focus on North American applications, she will also play a key role in supporting the UCAS application process and contributing more broadly to the work of the Futures department.
Last week two mini international university fairs took place in The Hub. Pupils could meet representatives from a wide spread of universities in addition to specialists who support athletes applying to the US institutions.
